Unlearn how to look

If images have always been one of our most effective tools for getting to know and relating to the world, what happens when the exponential multiplication of images ends up making the world incomprehensible? What happens when it is no longer humans who look at images, but machines, satellites or algorithms who look at us?

We will consider what strategies we can adopt to unlearn how to look at a world saturated with images.

This project came to fruition during Mòniques' residency at Santa Mònica Art Center in Barcelona and is a result of a collaborative effort with Marc Villanueva Mir.
